03/03, 6:30 p.m. Plan to attend this monthly, multi-generational concert of prayer. We pray for many general needs, spiritual revival, physical healing, etc. Join us as we worship, pray, and encounter God. This month's Unleashed! focuses on those in our midst with serious physical illness and those affected by the economy. Fast all day and then plan to join us as we break the fast with a bowl of heartwarming soup before prayer time. This promises to be a meaningful time with warm fellowship and sincere prayer and praise time. Please contact Sue Humphrey if you would like to bring a pot of soup. Continue to work with Max Lucado's "Each Day, Starting in 2009". Seriously consider using this challenge to serve God in a more practical way. If you like chili, this is the place you'll want to be. Bring your favorite chili recipe, a big appetite, and maybe a roll of Tums. A panel of judges will be on hand to pronounce the winner, although this always proves to be a tough decision. Please contact Brenda Naumilket or Angela Graff for further information, to sign up, or to confirm your attendance. Community residents are encouraged to attend. If you don't have a favorite chili recipe, please plan to attend anyway. There is always plenty of amazing food and great fellowship at LifeSpring social events. Yee haw! Frontline Youth will also have a bake sale table set up to raise money for their upcoming summer camp and mission trip. Look for a scrumptious assortment of home baked goodies, and plan to support this very worthy cause.

03/22, 10:00 a.m. - one unity service "Christ in the Passover" What do the Jewish Passover and Jesus’ Last Supper have in common? A representative from Jews for Jesus will answer that question during “Christ in the Passover” right here at LifeSpring during this special unity service. You’ll gain wonderful insights on how the pieces of God’s plan of salvation fit together, and you’ll remember this visual display of the Passover pageantry for years to come. Join us for “Christ in the Passover” – a journey from Egypt, to Calvary, to what it means for us today. Using a visual display of traditional Passover accouterments, the “Christ in the Passover” presentation enhances the Christian’s understanding and appreciation of the Jewish background of the Christian Communion. Ancient and modern Jewish customs are discussed and described with an emphasis on the aspect of redemption which Christ accomplished at Calvary. A table is set with the traditional Jewish Passover items, including representative foods which are explained, but not eaten. The ceremonial Seder plate, the three-compartment pouch in which the matzo (unleaved bread) is kept, as well as the traditional cup of Elijah is presented, and new insights to their Christological significance are provided. Jews for Jesus has presented this demonstration in over five thousand churches to date. Those attending will have the opportunity or ask Micha questions after the presentation, and also examine literature and materials on the way out. Pastor Chris Dyer invites all to attend. There is no admission charge. For more information call the church office at 330.483.4774. Click here to
